As a child,when paintings and photographs, I was among them. I was dreaming about the landscapes, buildings entered and shown the way on foot in these pictures. I just felt the need to create some pictures of me and began to draw and paint, a hobby I still run regularly. From an early age I liked to leaf through art books and admired the paintings of different artists ranging from Renaissance masters to contemporary painters as well as a fewWork in my home town of Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland. Today I found the inspiration for my photography in the works of painters like Edvard Munch, Odd Nerdrum, Lucian Freud and JMV Turner, and many of the classic and contemporary photographers.
