There are no dinosaurs in Ireland
With St. Patrick's Day is approaching and with it all celebrated with the Emerald Isle will be, we think of a geological puzzle that may confuse the uninitiated. Can the United Kingdom and Ireland are geographically close to each other, show that for the vertebrate paleontologists in search of dinosaur fossils in southern England, a rich hunting ground for dinosaur remains. However, the nearby British - Italy, is virtually free of any Dinosauria, there is no dinosaurFossils in all respects. Ironically, if you are looking for monstrous reptiles, are parts of the south coast of England, a good place to look, but on the island of Ireland and Northern Ireland is the land mass north of that particular visit if you must do to go hunting Mesozoic vertebrates.
Many people are celebrated with a history of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, whose life and work on March 17 of each year. FromAll Saints' Day in the United Kingdom is that St. Patrick's tends to get more famous, at least in our experience. We suspect that this devotion is perhaps to do with it, its marketing agencies to help find an acute event to sell goods and services is well between Valentine and Mother's Day of each particular reference to the first.
But like all things Irish are celebrated, it gives us the opportunity to discuss one of the frequently asked questionsof our customers in Ireland because they are dinosaur fossils found in the United Kingdom, while there is no one to be excavated in Ireland across the Irish Sea?
Has St Patrick drive all the fossils of dinosaurs and snakes?
One of the stories associated with St. Patrick, he was responsible for the expulsion of all the snakes from Ireland. The snake (serpent) is considered an evil creature has taken its role in the genesis of this particular member of the Squamatacast as the villain in many Western civilization. Despite the apocryphal nature of this story is true there are no native species of snakes with the "Emerald Isle" is associated. However, it provides an understanding of climate change and the effects of icing a more likely explanation, for which no native snake species. Snakes, of which there are relatively few types of return in northern Europe, not only in Ireland, after a glacial event, but because there are no dinosaursFossils? Bizarre, as the absence of snakes in Ireland, some with only three native species in Britain, but many species of dinosaurs in the United Kingdom, were discovered explains - Iguanodon, Hylaeosaurus, Lexovisaurus, Hypsilophodon, Scelidosaurus only a handful. To the best of our knowledge, no genus or species of dinosaur ever found in Ireland.
Why are there no fossils of dinosaurs in Ireland?
The answer to the question below:Your feet, has everything to do with geology. It is to understand the nature of the strata exposed and their age, which is in Ireland and found the comparison of these characteristics with those of the United Kingdom.
Ireland and the United Kingdom have found side by side for a considerable part of geological time. But in reality, the geology of Ireland much more closely associated with the far north of England and Scotland, indicating that these massesto share an affinity for the geological processes that shaped their foundation.
There is another factor to consider when it comes to search for dinosaur fossils. Dinosaurs, as regards the known fossil record shows, were fully terrestrial animals - were adapted to a life on earth. For most of the Mesozoic was immersed (at the age of reptiles) over land mass that Ireland today, covered with sea water so that dinosaurs lived.
Take for example the LateChalk. The sea level was much of the Cretaceous period, and while in the western part of the United States has increased famous dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus rex and Triceratops walked on, about 98% in Ireland was covered by a shallow sea. Only a small part of the land mass we know as Ireland was now above the water surface, a small remote island, and finally to the eastern part of County Wicklow will be removed. The British Isles during this period was largely under water, thus the formation of such well-known geological features, such as the white cliffs of Dover. These are called coccoliths deposits of tiny marine organisms, especially phytoplankton and the small plates made of limestone.
Ireland, Northern Ireland and Ireland have their share of fossil key locations. Most of the geological map of Ireland is dominated by sedimentary rocks. Seams limestone, shale, mudstone and coal, which were during the Carboniferous, a geological period in Septemberoccurred long before the dinosaurs. There are a number of important places in Ireland where you can invertebrates and primitive plants and fossil fish are found. However, other types of vertebrate fossils are very, very rare.
Compare this central and southern England, where it is exposed to light from the Mesozoic sediments scientists the opportunity to explore and discover the dinosaur fossils exposed in these Jurassic and earlyrocks of the Cretaceous.
Irish geology is much more closely related to geology in northern England and Scotland, where they are exposed to very few outcrops of rocks which set the age of reptiles found on the surface. In the far north of the land mass from which Ireland and Northern Ireland, there are many clues metaphorphic rocks and igneous rocks such as basalt established as a result of violent volcanic eruptions. This testifies to the immense power that thisLearned only part of the earth's crust volcanoes 65 million years ago, when the area was dominated by the sea, mountains and other areas. A visit to the famous geological feature of the 'Giants Causeway in County Antrim is known to be proof enough of this part of Ireland's recent violent geological past.
Under these conditions it was, although some dinosaurs and other Mesozoic vertebrates still remains that they would receive as a result of geological processes have been destroyed. However, there arefossils of dinosaurs and marine reptiles associated with Ireland. One of our staff is sure that she once read about a dinosaur track found on a site on the north coast of the island. Some fragmentary dinosaur fossils have been found in Lower Jurassic strata in County Antrim.
With regard to marine reptiles, Leviathans age of reptiles such as plesiosaurs and ichthyosaurs part of the fossil material was found, again with the appropriate placesCosta County Antrim, but these fossils are very fragmentary and very rare.

Reference Review: The Gregg Reference Manual
Image : http://www.flickr.com
I often use this reference, because when I just use for example, questions on grammar, usage, o. I also like because I can find answers quickly, faster than the Chicago Manual of Style, for example.
Suppose that I am not sure you want about the use of the colon in a sentence review, e. I opened the front cover of the Gregg Reference Manual and there is a page list of topics. No need to work through a table of contents or index. I find the argument inonly a few seconds.
I see two points in paragraphs 187-189 is covered (in my Canadian version anyway). The use of paragraph numbers rather than page numbers, the speed also my research, because I do not need to try to find the first paragraph of a page - I just pointed straight at the 187th
Also note that the paragraph numbers are listed at the top of each page, listed as the first paragraph at the top of the left side, and the last entry in the top rightPage.
I think the voices have a good balance between brevity and completeness. On the other hand, if you need more information or you want a good coverage of exceptions aside, Gregg could find the positive side.
All in all I like the Gregg Reference Manual, so that I can find the answers quickly and easily, so my ability to express thoughts are derailed during the review.
E 'widespread, both in traditional bookstores and online.

Write to pay the world lead market for fiction and poetry - Book Review
Image : http://www.flickr.com
Writing-World.com 's Guide to paying markets for fiction and poetry by Moira Allen is more than just a book of information for the present writer. The author concludes by paying only the markets for magazines (e-zines, magazines and newspapers). The author has a very useful section "About this book" that explains what each section in the publications listed funds. They even describe the various rights that are often required of magazines. Ilearned within the first 17 pages, I had incorrectly addressing envelopes for international shipments from the country, particularly in capitals next to the state or province. And what a surprise it was for me - I had no idea it was a protocol for sending out-of-land! This chapter also discusses important issues and common problems with e-mail and online communications. Moira discussion of literary magazines was also very interesting and informative.
List of MarketsStories, poetry, fiction, fantasy, horror, Christian, for adults and many other kinds of secret romance - the book is sure to help authors market their books and authors to sell their free articles. Author Moira Allen goes one step further and sub-markets in smaller groups, for example, children / Christian and Flash Fiction, to facilitate the selection of writers.
Textbooks like these are usually dry and boring to read but the book is Moirasome people have written - which is difficult to do with data collection. Each list has a number of useful tips and information, including the type of material accepted the submission for publication, the publication of what the pay rate that the rights of protest and contact information (including email and website URL).

A must for all mystery writers and readers - Howdunit Forensics "by DP Lyle
Image : http://www.flickr.com
I bought "Howdunit Forensics" by Writer's Digest Books on secret used as a reference for my writing. I thought it would be helpful book to read while writing corrected to ensure that the technical aspects of my secrets. Nobody was more surprised than me when I wound up reading like a novel. Why? Why is fascinating. The system of forensic medicine, the coroner and the body, the scene of the crime and Crime Lab: The book is divided into three broad categories. There are many subcategories within each main title, and believe me, Lyle covers everything you would ever need to know when writing a mystery. Although I am not a writer, but just a fan of mysteries, well, you will enjoy this book.
Lyle writes in a style that is easily understood by all and not too technical. Who would otherwise be a mystery writer like to see the steps in an autopsy? You can use this book, Chapter 3, The autopsy: A look at the body. Do you need informationto trace back? Chapter 15: Forensics: sweat the small stuff. If you read the chapter on crime scene, you will see how many errors some of the most popular shows of the crime. You know, I hope that most of the things is incorrect. CSI do not carry weapons, do not interrogate suspects, and they never told me what I'm looking for an autopsy! Of course, if they want to continue the way real detective, the show would not be half as exciting.
I found the last chapterThe book, Forensic Psychology: Evaluation of the spirit, as especially interesting. More and more we rely on forensic psychologist, rushing us into the criminal mind. We are no longer satisfied to say that a person has committed a crime because he or she was crazy. We want to know why these men and women, crimes, what motivates them to commit. I particularly liked the blue background side-bar for the entire book cites real cases, forensic and tells how to help solve crimes and punishment ofVillains.
DP Lyle, MD is the Macavity Award winning and Edger ® Award nominated author of nonfiction books, "murder and culpable homicide" and "Forensics and Fiction" and the thriller, Devil's Playground and Double Blind.
He worked as a technical consultant and the story published by many authors and writers and producers of several popular television shows including "Law & Order, CSI worked: Miami, Diagnosis Murder, Monk, Judging Amy, Cold Case, peacemaker, House ,Medium and 1-800 Missing.

Seven important lessons for professionals, since the Want
Image : http://www.flickr.com
First I noticed that I have written many articles that have appeared in Instructor magazine. After earning a degree in elementary education and taught for a short period, I had some experience in dealing with the challenges in the classroom and wanted to capitalize on them. I also read a writer of journals and books that encouraged me even more.
Initially, my biggest challenge courage call, go ahead and describe my idea of the journalEditor. My letter question began with a hook, I'm at my work and a brief description of the contents of the object. Towards the end of this letter, I explained why my experience that I've done the script perfect for the job! A few weeks later a reply came from the magazine. They were interested in my article and I'd like, please send to speculation.
So I wrote an article that filled one page, signed and submitted. A few weeks later he returned in the memory-maila rejection slip. Discouraged but not giving up, I developed and presented an idea for another magazine education. I felt really good about this idea. Apparently, the editors as well and a few months later, my voice, to pay $ 75 for it. Then I put the ideas instructor, and after a few more months, I have seen my work in the magazine.
During that time I learned my lessons into account and these were:
Lesson 1: Do not think about it, "Leavesomething one day. "This time will never come! Make up your mind to follow through and do it now. There's never a better time!
Lesson 2: Just at the bottom with a magazine or a book publisher offered. Watch and read the whole article. Pay attention to their form and content. Then figure out what was left unsaid. For example, the authors have briefly mentioned in a paragraph, but their development. Why not extend this idea? They wouldplaigerizing would be, but the idea of putting in a new perspective. Best regards.
Lesson 3: Make a list of everything that was silent, and can be expanded. Long before to write a query that Scholastic has been positive, I filled a sheet of paper with words related to my topic. My task was to write a book for substitute teachers in elementary schools. I wanted something more than usual, I thought that my experience as a substitute teacher and asked meI would appreciate, use and maintenance. The answers helped me a ride on a different set of familiar theme.
Lesson 4: Enter your article or a book draft a working title. Brainstorm a list of possible titles. Write down everything and do not have a title such as mad or concern "wrong." This is the internal editor has said. Ignore until you choose to provide a title.
Lesson 5: Take the time to write a good query letter, if one considers that this is the first writingSample, which provides an editor. First impressions are important! Write to leave sketches, fresh and revised again and again until you are satisfied with every single thing! If the slightest concern or questions about any part of this letter is to review again.
Lesson 6: There will be weeks and perhaps months, before receiving an answer, write your article or book chapter, and develop ideas. Continue turning the wheel!
Lesson 7: Do not be discouragedDenials that surely will happen. Experts, published authors rejected all the time. If you give too soon, your work may not be published.
